客房旅館 (Rooms Inn)

Spent a night here. Had to keep my windows open for ventilation as there was no air conditioning nor fan in the room. Location is okay, one bus from city centre. Receptionists are nice and easy to talk to. Many thanks for the tea and coffee made available in the room.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was not very comfortable. The air conditioning in the room was completely ineffective and did not cool the space at all. Although the room was equipped with a small fan, it was nowhere near sufficient for two people, especially during a heatwave. The bathroom extractor fan was also not working, which meant that after taking a shower, the room became even hotter and more humid. As the window could not be opened, there was no way to get fresh air or any ventilation. We ended up spending a very uncomfortable and restless night due to the excessive heat. The hotel’s location is not particularly central, but it is reasonably close to the city centre. One positive aspect is that it offers free parking and breakfast, which is definitely appreciated. Overall, if the air conditioning were properly repaired, I would be happy to consider staying here again in the future.

Too start us off. We walked into the property and where told the staff where slow which was a bit off putting. I was charged £30 extra for breakfast for two people which was advertised as a buffet too get two brown paper bags consisting of a apple, apple juice, a packaged croissant and a breakfast bar that was so dry it wouldn’t go down my throat and the hot apple juice didn’t exactly help. Furthermore, I booked a double room as you can see in photos when you book a double room, it’s a nice room you would think. We were “upgraded” too a superior room with grime and dirt in the tiles. Hair on the floor. Marks all over the duvet that looked like it had just been flipped over. The floor was covered in dust. The bedside lamp didn’t work making one side of the room dark. It seemed completely outdated due too the stained and dirty carpet. The room smelled off a dump. Neither me nor my partner got too sleep until 7am due too not being able too turn off our heating. We had a fan on and the window open ajar considering we couldn’t actually open it any further. We also did not appreciate being quizzed every time we wanted to enter the property past 10 at night. Overall the only positive thing about this was the short walk too St James’s Park as we where seeing Sam fender. I was utterly shocked about the state off this room and the service that was provided. Not a nice hotel room and not an enjoyable stay.

Pleasant view on residential garden, and the location is accessible to the town centre by bus. The breakfast pack provided is great for a hurry up to catch the quick pace on journey.

Good location with free parking and about a 15-minute walk to the city centre. The price is reasonable and includes a breakfast box for each guest. The experience could have been better if the room facilities were maintained and cleaned to a higher standard.

Well what can I say…. I never even managed to make it to the property for my stay because I have a bug or food poisoning. They are demanding I pay or provide proof of my illness. Absolute joke.

It was an okay stay. The facilities are doable and the hotel is well located. It is within walking distance of the city centre, which makes for ease of access.
